What are Runes?

Runes are part of the build conversation: they are a resource layer to consider alongside a Hero's role, combat behavior and the team sequence around that Hero. The public update notes confirm system changes, but do not publish a complete Rune stat or ranking guide.

What changed in Rune inventory?

Update 1.0.7 expanded maximum Rune inventory capacity from 200 to 500 and improved the inventory to display the number of Runes owned.

How does Rune synthesis work?

The official note confirms that 4-Star Rune Synthesis can now yield 5-Star Runes. That answers the narrow question “Can 4-Star Runes become 5-Star Runes?” with yes, as a possible result; it does not establish a guaranteed outcome.
